We are thrilled to be on #nostr, which stands for most of what we think about underground #music in terms of liberty.
We've been tired of being censored for putting words as such as "liberty" and "authority" together on the same phrase, and for thinking about the #underground #art as what it essentially stands for: the opposite of (and counterpoint to) the industrial and mainstream kidnapping of the human culture. So that we are really amazed to be on a land where freedom is the solid stone upon where its foundations stand.
We are Escarlatina Obsessiva, an underground Brazilian band active since 2006. We already put out 7 albuns, and we are currently working on a "best of" compilation, with new versions and re-recordings, and on our 8th album with unreleased songs. In fact, we already released 3 songs from this new album, which are available on Spotify rn: "Merry Go Round" (a version of Bachs's WTC Prelude N.1 with electric guitar and bass), "Strong Orpheus" and "Mothman".
And we also produce some videos about our off-grid life here in São Thomé das Letras, a small village in Brazil where we live, so we're also linking our backtotheland_eo (npub1dv8…2w5v) Back to the Land with Escarlatina Obsessiva for you friends to check us out.
