I really wish everyone complaining about AI consuming too much water or electricity would advocate for pricing of these resources that actually takes their scarcity and adverse effects into account.
If AI and everyone else pays a fair price, there’s nothing to complain about.
When you advocate that AI water should be expensive or banned, and cattle silage irrigation stays unchanged, what you’re really saying is you like subsidized hamburgers but other people don’t get to make economic choices
