Just finished the rest of Jekyll Island. So depressing, but the end solutions sound exactly like the multigenerational approach we're taking with Bitcoin.
It's going to be so much more difficult than I imagined though. The whole world runs on a broken accounting system make out of debt. A lot of powerful people and governments make sure of that. It's literally an addicting drug and they'll wage wars just to push it harder.
Looking at recent events since the book, such as Liberty Dollars, 0 percent reserve requirements, FDIC bank takedowns, custodia's fed account prevention for being 100% reserves, ETFs, bankers getting involved in Bitcoin more, the US's unlimited cash deposits into ukraine, a sweeping crackdown on privacy and using Bitcoin, etc etc.
I'm very conflicted. It's all a big cluster fuck.
I binged 75% of The Creature From Jekyll Island within 24 hours and now my mind is completely fucked. It's so much worse than I thought. I have no words.
