'When my college roommate concluded with a personality test that I was the “creative” type, the rest of my friends said that couldn’t be right, because “I was a scientist and therefore was not creative.” When I tell people I’m in a chemistry Ph.D. program, they often respond with something along the lines of, “I could never do that because I am more of the creative type.”
