This is kind of boring but something I think about when news coverage is going bonkers, as it is/will:
Reminder that presidential debates almost never matter electorally. (Biden's snafu being the exception, unique circumstances.) Even if Harris or Trump messes up in some obvious way, causing major press drama, any effects measured by polling will likely dissipate before the election.
