Basically, everyone in the TLS certificate issuance process needs to have the same view of your DNS, which can vary (e.g. based on caching) for at least as long as your /previous/ TTL was. And after that point, /then/ sourcehut's "fetch a TLS cert" process needs to begin.
In short: sit and wait! :-)
