First attempt at this was in 2008. It was a command line program that worked when I was at desk, writing and debugging software.

I didn't realise back then that all I do involves some amount of yak shaving, ad-hoc requests from others and distractions. So many distractions. I find it difficult to get back to the things I was doing before I went off on a tangent.

Now making a habit to record a tangent before I start on that path, for every tangent. So I can backtrack and actually finish things.
