One’s nostr experience is largely defined by the client you use. This has pros and cons. For example, primal (npub12vk…pugg) makes strong use of hashtags, while damus (npub18m7…q955) provides a global/universe feed that can be highly tuned.
Beyond that, it’s about the relays you connect to. For example, wss://welcome.nostr.wine relays only new user notes/posts.
It’s a lot to take in, and it’s all still very much a work in progress, but the benefits of no algos and no corporate overseers makes it very worthwhile to those of us here.
