BlueWallet doesn’t do submarine swaps like Muun does. If you want to move funds from lightning back to onchain, you will need to send lightning payment first to another service.
I’ve mostly found BlueWallet useful to keep a small onchain wallet on my phone to use as a sort of Venmo with other Bitcoiner friends, or to sell/give away some sats to people I am teaching. At times I have played around with it’s lightning wallets, and used it to teach others about how lightning works, but kept running into issues of tx errors with other lightning wallets. This was a year ago, so it may have improved, but I basically sent all my lightning funds except for ~500k sats back over to Muun just because it does do submarine swaps between LN/onchain fairly easy.
