At some point it feels like the competition to out-radical each other came to a point where now you're a 'lib' if you don't think killing innocent civilians is cool. It's insane, and it has to be its own form of dehumanization, right?
For what it's worth, I don't think liberals are immune to this either - I remember before this war and horrendous siege of Gaza, I saw a YouTube video interviewing random citizens of Moscow about drone attacks from Ukraine. They were understandably scared. And all of the YouTube comments were fucking dunking on them, like those random citizens have something to do with the levers of power in Russia?
I'm not making a claim about whether Ukraine sending drones into Moscow is all things considered wrong, but, like, fuck, stop painting anyone who was born somewhere with someone who is responsible for the policies of the powers that be there.
