Truly disturbing how many parenting books on autism do one or more of the following:
1) focus on "preventing" autism
2) focus on "healing" autism
3) treat having an autistic kid as a tragedy
With the amount of neurodivergence that nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqnnhce86esjk5e74jyqwtwmd2r9wmzffdpxf2j7lxuvu9jkgvrrjq6najfu (nprofile…ajfu) and I have in our families, we will not be at all surprised if Assata is autistic.
Because it is GENETIC.
And not something to "fix."
