sneaking out, yes! In the daytime that’s what I used to do until I realized that because of heavier car and foot traffic, the cat would stop following when he got scared. At first I worried he would get lost, and perhaps he did because every time he took hours to come back and once he didn’t return until the next day. I did try to put him on a leash once, but he hated it! So I let him follow at his pace. It’s endearing how they participate 💚
