Political discourse has degraded significantly. What caused it? I think part of it is the TV networks and their endless quest for money and eyeballs. Is it any wonder it descends into performance art? And then we have the leaders. We are devoid of any inspiring characters who lead with temperament and substance.
Things typically fall apart before the rebuild, and look around at the population. I don't see many people among us keen to carry the torch and illuminate a path forward.
