Elton John - Honky Chateau
I was far too young to be able to afford records when this came out, but (of course) the singles were ever-present on the radio. It's been fun to revisit this and Madman and piece together the actual albums the songs I knew came from...for whatever reason I hadn't ever filled in the gaps.
This is the VMP version, with a pretty flawless pressing. Hard to compare with how the original sounded, since I don't have it - but it seems pretty good to me.
