I started watching that "For those about to Die" show about Rome the other day and couldn't make it 10 minutes into it before noping with disgust.
Ended up watching “I, Claudius” (yet) again. Such a wonderful show. Derek Jacobi is delightful, as are Brian Blessed, Sian Phillipe and John Hurt amongst others.
Truly one of the best things the BBC has ever made.
Heartedly recommend to those of you who probably think about the Roman empire daily…
