In a masterful political move, Seymour's current media lines are that the 45000 people in today's hīkoi in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, the tens of thousands who joined elsewhere, and the roughly 250000 who have signed the petition against his crappy Bill are all misinformed, don't understand it and should be educated (presumably by him).
In politics, explaining is losing.
And calling a massively popular movement ignorant at best, is arrogant and condescending, things voters famously love.
