Spent a few hours standing along highway 101 and waving my sign at the Redwood National Park protest today.
I thought it was a good turnout considering we were in the middle of nowhere. I estimate 75+ participants.
Listening to stories of people who have lost their jobs made me cry.
There was concern for the fate of our public lands for sure.
There were witty signs and really nice people.
It was our privilege to stand with the federal workers.
