Dan, I have to agree here on this point. I have had tired plugged until I could buy a new set or 1 tire if the tires were fairly new still. I would not travel on a plugged tire. For me, my tires came from Costco (These are called Club Tires). A plugged tire will not fail until you are far away from a Costco. A small local shop won't be able to match Club Tires. They may come close but it may have a different tread pattern. That may work until you are in an accident
