Having never contributed to any significant open-source project so far
(only closed-source dictatorships), I have no idea what would be best,
but I just wanted to say that I share your concerns.
Also, I am currently using Rusty's repo at ElementsProject as the
reference implementation and it is perfectly fine, but I really hope
we won't end up "Bitcoin style", with specification=implementation !
