The Best replacement flex boards fix the reliability issues with the controllers, thankfully.
The system really shines when a game is well suited to the controller, like Missile Command or Centipede. Unfortunately the library consists mostly of Atari 800 versions of games that were already on 2600 and play much better with a CX-40. If they'd made the CX-40 an option, I think the system would be a lot more fun
