Years ago, I looked at a house, and all the drywall panels from waist down were replaced. I did a hard 180* once seeing those. I knew I didn't want anything to do with that place.
The last house, I installed a french drain on a vacation to stop the water intrusion into my crawl space. It wasn't terrible, but it was more than I wanted in there.
This house, the previous owner used shitty black corrugated pipe, not PVC, that has since collapsed. That needs to be dug up and replaced. Yuck
