Personally, I haven’t been to an SBux since March 2020… and I don’t plan on returning.
Closing all of their “cafe stores,” and going full in on drive-thru locations, made their stores a misery to actually spend time in (as a “3rd place”) anymore. The collective failure to effectively solve the pandemic was, if you will, the whipped cream on top of the Frappuccino. The bad faith approach to labor unions was the cherry on top of that.
