I think it’s a mistake to treat it as something to be locked into cold storage and never touched though
I like to spend sats wherever I can find a merchant that accepts them but I always rebuy afterwards so as not to dilute my position
Same with lightning ⚡️- I try to use it whenever possible
Circular economy is the way to go
