I tried a Dell xps running Ubuntu many years ago. After a month or two I got so fed up with fighting my system that I went back to Apple. I've been a happy macbook user for decades. Never had a problem with the hardware before the 10 year mark. I knew about their shitty business practices but I'm honestly kind of shocked at the hardware failure. Hearing from a regular Joe on the other end of an Apple lawsuit is just icing on the cake at this point.
