The reason I’ve feared politicians offering #Hope is I spent the first lockdown working on research bids about the need for #Climate honesty from politicians.
The academic I was working with said that unless politicians open up to the public about their worst nightmares about #ClimateBreakdown, the action required will never happen.
But to do that is to remove Hope.
And that’s an almost impossible thing to get elected without.
So #Harris offers Hope…but is there honesty too? I think so.
