If there's one trope I severely dislike about Russians in videogames is using the "similar" looking letters to depict "similar" looking sounds.
No, if you put "Я" as "R" in "Яidge" it doesn't mean "Ridge", i means "Yaidge" so unless you intend to do that, please don't do that.
Take like, 5 to 10 minutes to study what sounds letters make when they are spoken in a sentence.
