A while back, I was very ill and kept working. As someone who has #ChronicIllness this is NORMAL. I applied for leave over this time so I could extend my PhD stipend and they rejected saying there was evidence I was still working. I shouldn't have tried so hard. A case where work ethic is punished. RAGE! Another reason to find a job elsewhere and leave academia #AcademicChatter
