UK radio figures have come out and the industry is crowing about “best ever figures”.
The percentage of the population listening per week is the lowest ever for Q2, at 88.1%. The time spent listening per week is 20.6 hours; in 2017 and 2018 it was 20.8 hours. But the highest ever number of people listening, because there are 1.3mn more adults who live in the country, and every Q2 they adjust the population numbers accordingly.
