If you caught the power ballad last night, then you've heard the incredible Elize Ryd (of Amaranthe sing). She was once considered for Nightwish, and filled in part of one of their tours. But, she also does guess appearances for a number of bands/projects. Here is one such example, with Apocalyptica (3 cellos and a drummer). What an amazing sound!
