yeah don't worry, that is why I was referring more generally to "the discourse" rather than yourself specifically and also saying it is totally legitimate for you not to want to join! Just in among the mass migration there has been plenty of sneering (mainly on here) at people wanting "artists only" platform, especially one which isn't "open source or part of the fediverse".
