1. I graded a batch of papers about everything from Irving's "Rip Van Winkle" to Cather's "Paul Case." The students worked hard & their writing/analysis improved.

2. I have a little break btw. teaching quarters & can finish Danzy Senna's "Colored Television."

3. Everyone on this platform was so kind to like the photos of my dad, whose bday was today. I'm beyond grateful. Here's one last pic of Jerry @ Weequahic HS, when he was called "the machine" on the basketball court.
