I am trying to teach my daughter that - It is okay to be mad, but it is not OK to be mean.
Learning to manage big emotions at 5 or 6 is not easy. Sometimes, it is tough for me to hold back my own emotions when she overreacts over small things. That's the expected reaction from small kids.
Are there any more tips or things you did to teach your kid to be able to differentiate between being mad and being mean?
