Every so often we get a lot of discourse about whether or not to accept people who regret supporting Trump, what they should need to do to be welcome, etc.
At this point my question is why does this discussion keep happening? I haven't seen any mass outpouring of regrets, not now and not any time in the past decade, not really. Trumpists in real life don't seem to be lining up around the block seeking redemption. Maybe if your shitty uncle apologizes to you go ahead and figure that out, but in the mean time this stuff seems to be pure imagination.
