gav (nprofile…f6e6) is a phonetic description different from IPA?
I kinda assumed it was just the normal alphabet, because certain american indian languages (like in the pacific northwest) have lots of weird IPA-ish symbols in their normal alphabet. Which kind of sucks for normal people who don't know linguistics; it's unsexy.
