Nostr is incredible because of how it aligns incentives.
You post content people find valuable? You’re rewarded with follows, zaps, discussion, and more. This leads to you working very intentionally to create more and more valuable content.
You don’t post valuable things and don’t engage with the community? Well, you’ll get nothing in return. There’s no algorithm to help you. You gotta do the work.
This is obvious for individuals, but is even more interesting when it comes to organizations, media, and businesses. There’s no paying your way into people’s feeds, and no way of promoting trash content no one actually wants to see.
It’s nice to see (better) money being used as an incentive to give individuals power again. As they say, fix the money fix the world.
