Ok, something different for #ThrowbackThursday ...
This is my Anscoflex, a $28 dual lens reflex camera made by Ansco in Binghamton, NY between the years 1954 and 1958.
The Anscoflex took 6x6cm images on 620 film, wound by a large, ratcheted knob in the side.
It had just one button - a shutter button - and no other controls. The aperture (f/11) and shutter speed (1/60th of a second) were fixed. And focal distance was 6 feet to infinity. Point, shoot, and pray.
Most notably, the image through the viewfinder (TTV) was large and beautifully distorted. I'm going to share some of those views shortly.
