I know and believe the whole “if you’re not happy without a partner then you won’t be happy (long term) with a partner” schtick. That makes sense on a lot of levels.
But my goodness it would be really convenient to have one, because I have a bunch of mostly emotional but occasionally physical needs that get projected in inconvenient ways.
