If I'm getting cooling fans for my media cabinet (PS5 gets stupidly hot, I have to remember to open the door when I play) do I need an intake fan or can I get away with just a vent?
I'm thinking a discreet vent at the bottom, and then a fan on the back, near the top, facing the wall (there's a gap of an inch or so between the wall and the cabinet).
The diagram from the manufacturer of the one I'm looking at shows a fan at the bottom, but surely the warm air being blown out the back will draw cooler air in through a vent anyway?
Actually, the cabinet isn't air tight… do I need a vent? It would just draw air in from around the doors, no? 🤔
