Traditional social media platforms would get money directly for increasing visibility of posts. Since there is no owner of nostr, this is one way to increase visibility of a post. Although it’s kinda scammy. Seems like nostr is figuring out how it’s going to become profitable in real time. Imagine selling a product or service and using buzzbot to get attention. There will be other strategies.
