"content": "Looked again at a #PHP codebase written/maintained in PHP 5.5, where new code is designed and added on the existing app.\n\nMade me realize that the only thing I miss from newer PHP versions is strict type checks, which came with PHP 7.0.\n\nEverything else was provided by nostr:npub1jwmstngwnk0mpqts2tnymjdpuu54h4udv938yn2g0qym3gpj8aks0xrlcy or nostr:npub1a3ehf29jz94gntew9j65y6qwxtjtvd9a4txvgprxa03mtpkpta9qvjl320 \n\nFrom my PoV (person that reads internals, follows/votes on RFCs, etc.), there are almost zero feature additions that make newer PHP versions interesting.\n\nNot justifying staying back: just noticed this.",
