I submit that “safe” and “safety” are the absolutely wrong terms to use when discussing so-called content moderation. Why pretend to deliver something which is fundamentally a false promise? Further, it gives credence to the notion that words are violence. They are not.
What we can do on #nostr is to provide additional methods and means for users to shape and curate their own experience.
