Securing a seed phrase without relying on third parties (bank deposit box, family member, etc.) is not a trivial thing that you can just recommend to Bob down the street, especially if they are not to keep it at home.
If my life depended on a normie or non-tech-savvy family member keeping Bitcoin safe for 10 years, I would not hesitate to recommend Bitkey over Coldcard with a seed phrase stored somewhere in their house.
Jack is not serving you or me, even tho I think there is a use case for expert users. He knows the audience he is going after, which is +90% of people.
