Good morning! I'm trying to do a little research into sound options available on IBM-compatibles prior to the launch of sound blaster! I know there's a few #dos heads and #retrocomputing peeps around here
I want to build a rough asset editor for sound in my game, something along the lines of sfxr for sounds and a basic sequencer for #gamemusic
I'm interested in figuring out what spec of limitations I should follow to capture the widest use case of that time. Was it all just the PIT?
