I live next door to a 90-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer's. Every morning he knocks on my door at 9 a.m. and asks if I have seen his wife, and I have to tell him she's been dead for 5 years.
It does get a little much sometimes and I've thought about moving or just not answering the door.
But when I see the happiness on his face when I tell him, it makes it all worthwhile
