Seeing a lot of replies along the lines of “Apple has bent the rules for the billionaire before”. That's true, but I see that as a maneuver aimed at getting him to shut up (with minor PR repercussions).
But don't you think Tim Cook, as a gay man, understands the importance of blocking online harassment? Don't you think the transgender, people of color, and other folks at Apple who aren't straight white men understand it, too?
You don't fuck with Apple here because it runs deep.
