It's one reason billionaires are being so bare faced (if one is paying attention) about installing fascism quickly. They may be deluded enough to think they can survive it and live out their lives before the final collapse but they aren't so deluded that they're not planning for it! I suspect it may be less than 3-4 years just because of how exponential climate change is and how it's a feedback loop of terribleness.
