Where did/do you struggle?
In my case I tried recently the lite node of voltage to get a stable node running to try something and get a public IP address. But even though I set up a routing channel with voltage I couldn't receive payments so I would not recommend voltage for beginners.
Greenlight on the website of Blockstream is at least advertised as hassle free.
If you refer to the way you connect your node to your wallet then the discussion is different, and voltage provides very good documentation for that.
