Decided to torture myself and *try* to participate in #AdventOfCode w/ #rstats this year. I've tried this in the past but admittedly felt not smart enough and never figured any solutions out 😅
This was a PAIN to figure out, but I did complete my first one! My solution involves custom functions to perform regex procedures with the help of the stringr and stringi packages.
