Ultimately, I have to admit I'm kind of biased against cross-platform software development.
I feel that platforms should all be meaningfully distinct -- they should have their own identities, their own things they're good at, their own ways of doing things. Heterogeneity is a good thing. Cross-platform programming works against that idea, it homogenizes computing.
