The only keyboard I've used is a Drevo Tyrfing V2 which has survived 2+ years so far, and it's like $36 now on Amazon.
I think it has hot-swappable keyswitches and an aluminum frontplate, so you might actually want to check it out if you don't mind losing the numpad...
Otherwise, I've heard good things about Keychron but bhtooefr (npub14v6…37w6) should have better options...
